Pre-application and Statement of Interest

Thank you for your interest in the Pardee RAND Graduate School. This pre-application is intended to provide you with some general feedback on your potential fit with our Ph.D. program. We recommend, but do not require, that you complete a pre-application prior to submitting an application for admission.

Academic Experience

The Pardee RAND Graduate School accepts candidates from a wide range of academic backgrounds. An advanced degree is not required for consideration. Regardless of academic experience, students must have a strong command of univariable calculus, and preferably multivariate calculus, by the time of enrollment. Linear matrix algebra is also recommended at time of enrollment.

Test Scores

Applicants must submit a valid score on either the Graduate Records Examination (GRE) or the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). To apply for fall 2019, these tests must have been taken after September 1, 2013 (within the past 5 years). If you have not taken a test, leave the field blank.
